Together We Envision “Education in Emergencies and Peace”
Mosaic art created by more than 1,000 messages and artworks
The Japan NGO Network for Education (JNNE) has been conducting the “SDG4 Education Campaign 2023” since February 2023, with the aim of raising public awareness of the current situation in various parts of the world where education is being hampered by conflict and war, and to encourage G7 countries to take action. During the three-month, we received more than 1,000 messages, drawings, photos, videos, and other works on “Education in Emergencies and Peace” from domestic and international citizens, including children and students. At the press conference, JNNE representatives will present the mosaic art created by these messages and artworks, and explain about our appeal to G7 countries to protect education in conflict, together with youth members.
