Shifting from Reactive to Proactive Responses — How anticipatory action can reduce the need for humanitarian assistance

Summary: More than 150 members of working groups on humanitarian assistance and conflict have discussed towards the C7 summit and policy recommendation. We have seen the largest gap between humanitarian need and available funding, and it is very crucial to take a step to reduce the humanitarian needs in order to save lives and reduce losses. In this session, leaning from local actors and new funding scheme, we would like to discuss how we can accelerate the step.
