The C7 sees itself as a platform through which civil society organisations and actors worldwide can network in order to enter into a dialogue with the G7.

– Given the nature of Civil 7 and to secure the safe space for discussion, some WGs may not accept participation from those who do not meet the following participatory criteria in C7, such as those representing the private sector including the entities whose primary purpose is not for profit, media or intergovernmental & governmental organizations.
MEMBERSHIP AND ORGANISATION:
Any local, regional or international civil society organisation (whether from G7 or non-G7 countries) is welcome to participate in the C7.
GLOBAL CHARACTER:
The C7 is the global space for civil society organisations from all over the world. To make sure that the C7 Communiqué reflects a global and inclusive perspective, international civil society actors who want to engage with the G7 are invited to join C7 Working Groups.
